SKIPTON PUPPET FESTIVAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

We are committed to treating your data with respect and holding it correctly, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation enforced May 25th 2018.

 

We collect data via three methods:​

 Through our website when you sign up to receive a festival brochure

 Through hard-copy evaluation forms at our events

 Through online evaluation forms, via Survey Monkey

We collect data for two purposes:​

 To keep audiences informed about Skipton Puppet Festival

 To collect feedback and map audience reach of those that experience our festival

 

GENERAL​

 We do not pass on your data to third parties in any circumstances

 You have the right to have your data removed from our records at any time without explanation.

 You have the right to request the data we store on you at any time without cost or explanation.

 We use your data to send you relevant news about Skipton Puppet Festival or to evaluate our work.

 This policy is drafted in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. We actively

    monitor current data regulation and update our data policy where necessary.

 Any storage of data is kept in password protected systems.

OUR COMMUNICATION WITH YOU​

 Our communication with you will be via Mailchimp, if you give us your email address, or by post if you

    have asked us to send you a hard copy of our festival brochure.

 We collect first name, last name, postal address and email address so that we can send you our

    news or a festival brochure. 

 We have signed a Data Agreement with Mailchimp to ensure all information is stored and used correctly, which you can read by clicking the PDF button below. Mailchimp stores their data in the USA but do so in line with EU General Data Protection Regulation

 We keep your data for a maximum of 5 years after which time we will ask you if you still want to

    receive information from us.
 

 ​You have the right to unsubscribe and have your data removed at any time.

EVALUATION FORMS​

 Our hard-copy and digital evaluation forms are very important to the development of Skipton Puppet

    Festival and to our funders and sponsors. On our evaluation forms we will ask you a number of

    questions about the festival and also collect some of your data.
